Version 1.0 · Effective date: 20 September 2026 · UK legal review required
Terms of Use
1. Operator and agreement
ThaiYinda is owned and managed by Prime Cognito and operated by Mark Prime trading as Prime Cognito. These Terms apply when you create an account or use the member service. Contact Get in Touch or hello@primecognito.com.
2. Strictly 18+
You must be at least 18 years old. Under-18 accounts are not permitted. Give a truthful date of birth and account information, keep one personal account, and protect your credentials. We may restrict and review a suspected under-18 account, preserve necessary safeguarding evidence, and delete data as required by law. A parent or guardian may report suspected child data through Get in Touch.
3. Service and account types
ThaiYinda is a bilingual social Community and Connections service. Free accounts provide the stated open-testing features. Standard and Premium/Lounge benefits apply only where shown by the current Membership Policy and central entitlement rules. We do not promise matches, relationships, replies or that every member statement is accurate.
4. Billing, cancellation and refunds
When billing is configured, a pause stops future renewal at the end of the paid period; reactivation may restore only remaining paid-through entitlement and never restarts renewal automatically. An erasure request cancels future billing immediately. A provider action is confirmed only after the provider confirms it. Refunds and cooling-off rights follow the published Membership Policy and applicable consumer law; these Terms do not invent or remove a refund right.
5. Community content
You retain ownership of content and grant a limited, non-exclusive licence needed to host, display, translate, moderate, secure, back up and operate it. Posts may include one safe link, permitted tags and supported media. Archive is an owner visibility choice separate from moderation. Deletion and cleanup may be delayed where a report or evidence hold applies.
6. Private messages, Lounge and calls
Ordinary private messages and Lounge content remain subject to blocks, safety rules and lawful evidence preservation. Existing shared conversation history is not automatically erased because one account pauses. Lounge photographs and calls are private-service features, not an emergency service. ThaiYinda does not record voice audio, though necessary connection and safety metadata may be kept.
7. Translation
Translations can be incomplete or inaccurate. Exact authored text remains authoritative. Do not rely on machine translation for urgent, medical, legal or financial decisions. Fixed legal interface text is authored in English and Thai.
8. Community Standards and prohibited conduct
Follow the Community Standards. Do not impersonate, harass, threaten, exploit, scam, scrape, automate accounts, evade blocks or restrictions, infringe rights, upload unlawful material, misuse location/presence data, or use personal accounts for unauthorised commercial solicitation.
9. Reports, moderation and appeals
A report does not automatically remove content. We may proportionately restrict content or accounts, preserve evidence and take action for safety, rule enforcement or law. Owner archive/restore cannot override moderation. Use Get Help for an appeal or complaint; significant decisions receive human review where required.
10. Business Accounts and advertising
Business Accounts and ThaiYinda advertising facilities may only be created, controlled or managed by eligible adult members aged 18 or over. Personal accounts must not be disguised advertising channels. Advertising facilities are not active during open testing. Sponsored or Advertisement labelling will be required before paid promotion launches. Marketplace and Business features remain subject to their published rules and statutory consumer rights.
11. Pause, reactivation and erasure
Pause hides the account and stops ordinary access without deleting account content. Reactivation removes only the voluntary closure overlay and cannot override a safety or moderation restriction. A permanent-erasure request restricts the account while identity, legal exceptions, recipients, backups and the data inventory are reviewed. Erasure is not complete merely because a request was accepted. A request may be withdrawn before irreversible execution under the authenticated workflow, without restarting billing.
12. Availability, responsibility and law
We aim for a reliable service but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Nothing excludes liability that law does not allow us to exclude, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or statutory consumer rights. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory rights or courts available in your home jurisdiction. Complaints may also be directed through Get in Touch and privacy complaints may be made to the ICO or pursued through a judicial remedy.
13. Related documents and changes
Read the Privacy Policy, Community Standards and Membership Policy. Material changes receive reasonable notice. Version 1.0 requires final review by an appropriately qualified UK legal professional; publication is not a claim of legal certification.
