Everyday Thai conversation you can build towards
Everyday conversation is a chain of small actions: opening politely, exchanging information, checking understanding, responding and closing naturally. Practise those actions in situations you are likely to meet.
Early situations: meet, repair and transact
A beginner pathway can cover greetings, introductions, communication repair, numbers, prices and simple orders. These situations give immediate value while teaching a learner how to stay in an exchange when understanding is incomplete.
Broaden into life, travel and services
The curriculum then plans practice around food preferences, directions, transport, meetings, work, family, daily routines, tickets, hotels, health, messages and service problems. The aim is not to memorise every possible sentence but to build reusable ways to ask, answer and clarify.
Develop connected social conversation
Later practice includes past experiences, future plans, opinions, invitations, small talk and repairing misunderstanding. Use language exchange to make these subjects genuine: respond to the person in front of you rather than performing a memorised dialogue.
