English conversation practice for Thai speakers
English conversation becomes easier to practise when the goal is a real action instead of a perfect sentence. Learn how to enter an exchange, make your meaning clear and keep going when you miss something.
Practise language you can use this week
Choose a situation from your life: introducing yourself at work, ordering, arranging a time, explaining a delay or asking a follow-up question. Practise the complete exchange, including what the other person may say.
Aim for intelligibility, not accent erasure
English listeners use stress, vowels and final consonants to recognise words. Focus on the feature that changes understanding most. Keep your identity and accent; a clear Thai accent is valid English communication.
Repair is part of confident speaking
Ask for repetition, slower speech, meaning or confirmation. Rephrase when needed. ThaiYinda’s curriculum plans these tools near the beginning and revisits them later in connected conversation because capable speakers repair misunderstandings rather than pretending they understood.
